It was late, but I still got my run in
Last night, when I got in from my first job's 11 hour shift, I decided to eat dinner right away since I had eaten an early lunch and was a pretty hungry fat man.
So instead of running right after the first job, I went off to my second job and worked on if for a few hours, and then ran.
And like the day before, I struggled with running at night.
But even though I was huffing and puffing towards the end, I still made it through an entire 5K without dropping my speed down to compensate.
However I was too tired to blog about it right away, which is why I'm posting about it this morning.
What about Friday?
When I started running at night I didn't think too far ahead, but with Friday night right around the corner I need to make a decision.
You see, Friday night is the one night I'm not working my second job, and it's at 5pm when I officially take a break from my low carb diet, crack open a few beers, and eat some buffalo wings or pizza (guests and good conversation welcome 😉 )
But that's not behavior conducive to running.
So right now I don't see any alternative other than skipping my Friday night run, and maybe replacing it with an after work run on Sunday nights during my former gaming time?
I'll have to think about that some more, but with run nineteen complete yesterday's score was: Shawn 1, Couch 0.
